This dwelling is located in the quiet residential community of Belmont - California. The project consists of renovating and expanding in height and width the owner's residence. Focusing on designs complying to local regulations, the owner has selected to intervene aesthetically and to use many material options. As for the exterior, the sloping terrain from the driveway up to the house entrance, made clear that the garage had a important role to the final design configuration. On the other hand, for the interior decoration the most significant valorisation was achieved by the natural and artificial lighting, in combination with the vibrant color of the kitchen and the natural material tones.
